This audition helps determine placement and solos in the musical numbers. Hint: Everyone will be cast in the show. No broken hearts here.
If your student would like to choose their own musical theater song to sing at the audition, please send a YouTube link of the Karaoke background track so I can play it for them at the audition. It is preferable to use the audition material provided!
Here is where you will find the audition music. There are four selections. Please choose one selection and have your student come to the audition prepared with it. Inside the file folder and videos should be everything for a successful audition. Tracks with singing, tracks without singing and sheet music so they can learn the words for their song. They are only singing a short part of each song.
More advanced singers (or those with bigger, higher voices) may want to try "So much better" from Legally Blonde which is one of the solos in our show. The instrumental track starts at 9:49- "Whoa!" There is no need to learn the whole song.
It's a hard song and the most important thing is to HAVE FUN!
For CONSIDER YOURSELF only learn the first 55 seconds in the recording above. The last word in the sheet music is "HOUSE!"
